Moving companies that are operational nationwide have affiliates on the local level. Two systems work during this scenario. Affiliated agents can franchise the national moving company while a cooperative works when an affiliate owns a part of the moving company. Apart from big-named movers, there are also small moving businesses that cater to certain cities and states. To be able to operate legally, Aurora movers and relocation companies have to obtain license from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration. While most movers provide full service moving, they have also opened up to a do-it-yourself moving when the moving companies merely provide the truck and van rentals to the customers. Also, the movers can provide the customers with professional packing supplies.
